The Women’s Civic League of North East is proud to have been selected out of a highly competitive field of applicants, a grant from the Maryland Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities in the amount of $10,000.00 The grant funds will be used to promote literacy and inspire the love of reading through the book gift giving program the Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Cecil County.
Funding for these grants has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Maryland Humanities as part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and the NEH Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan (SHARP) initiative.
